Still Hungry

I am getting back into still life/product photography this week with the plan to revamp and reinvigorate, so this post is very much like the previous. It’s chock full of images to look at for inspiration:

(found here, a blog entry actually mentioning the difficulty of still life photography)

It even incorporated collage!

(found here, and an article on the Five C’s of Product Photography)

In addition to product photography, I have thought a lot about fashion photography and whether I should try it for experience or not. Survey says: yes. Why not, it’s better than not doing it at all. Not to mention there is a closet full of clothing in my house that I’ll never wear regularly in public so what’s a better reason to get dressed up and try new things? So, that’s something else to look forward to this week as well.

Look at these:

(found here, and even though it’s Lindsay Lohan, I’m loving the lighting and the colors enough to ignore her face)

(the image caught my eye, but the blog is cooler)

(found here, loving the rest of the images here too)

Looking at new and different images makes a world of difference and I’m starting to feel excited again about the projects I absent-mindedly put on hold. It looks like it will be a productive week.

  1. Thanks for the pingback! Glad you enjoyed the photography, though it’s not mine. Found it on Lookbook.nu.
